This is a mock draft of what I would do if I was the GM of every team. There are no trades in this Mock Draft.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Lawrence

He’s Trevor Lawrence.

  1. New York Jets – Zach Wilson

Justin Fields was considered in this spot but for now I think that Zach Wilson is a better quarterback. While he may not be as fast or as strong as Fields, Wilson has a much cleaner delivery and he shows pinpoint accuracy to lead receivers downfield. He also is a great improviser which is becoming increasingly important.

  1. San Francisco 49ers – Justin Fields

I simply don’t understand how some people can think that Mac Jones is the right pick here. Justin Fields and his mobility and arm would bring another dynamic to the Shanahan offense, and Fields is a smart QB who takes care of the ball while also having the upside to make almost any play.

  1. Atlanta Falcons – Trey Lance

Atlanta has to have a real long talk about where this team is headed before they make their decision at 4. The Falcons have been looking at this scenario where they’ve been almost in contention but not quite good enough for the past 3 years and they need to get out of it. Matt Ryan is not the issue but the Falcons won’t be picking this high again and getting Lance to sit behind Ryan would be a great investment for the future.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals – Ja’Marr Chase

Why Chase is the Pick Over Sewell

  1. Miami Dolphins – Kyle Pitts

Quite frankly at this pick I was torn between Kyle Pitts and Penei Sewell and ultimately I ended up going with the guy who is higher on my board and that’s Kyle Pitts. Adding Pitts would really round out the weapons Miami has and Tua was the least pressured QB in the league last year, so even if that’s because of scheme, the offensive line still may not be as big a need as people think.

  1. Detroit Lions – Penei Sewell

The Lions best position on the team right now is probably left tackle with Taylor Decker but I still think Penei Sewell has to be the pick. Either Sewell or Decker can move to the right side, and in return the Lions get a phenomenal blocker to start their rebuild.

  1. Carolina Panthers – Caleb Farley

Some people may be concerned about the injuries but I don’t have the reports so I’m going to ignore that for now. Farley is a legitimate lockdown corner who can man up the other team’s top receiver as well as make plays on the ball. Carolina could certainly use a great man corner like Farley to help the backend of their defense.

  1. Denver Broncos – Jaelan Phillips

Yes the Broncos have Bradley Chubb and Von Miller right now but the fact that Von Miller is on the roster makes me like the pick even more. If Phillips is on the field his potential is through the roof. Miller clearly isn’t in for the long run and he can mentor Phillips who will soon dominate in the future.

  1. Dallas Cowboys – Patrick Surtain

Surtain is a corner who’s going to be able to do anything that you ask of him which is why he’s a great fit for Dallas. Quinn likes to mix up his zone and man coverage looks and Surtain does both at a high level because he’s so smart, and he can help an ailing Cowboys secondary.

  1. New York Giants – Devonta Smith

Devonta Smith is not a true X receiver but if there’s a different big receiver, say Kenny Golladay, to dissuade defenses Smith can be one of the most productive receivers in the league. He knows how to get open and simply understands the receiver position and with Golladay he could form a deadly receiver duo.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles – Christian Darrisaw

This was one of the toughest picks with a lot of guys filling big needs for them going a bit earlier. I think Darrisaw is the best pick and best tackle at this spot because the Eagles are in rebuild mode and developing a tackle is important and getting Darrisaw and moving Dillard to right tackle will help their offensive line in the future.

  1. Los Angeles Chargers – Rashawn Slater

Rashawn Slater has incredible foot speed which allows him to get to the second level quickly, making him an ideal fit in zone blocking offenses. The Chargers will have that next year and Slater will be instrumental in protecting franchise QB Justin Herbert.

  1. Minnesota Vikings – Jaycee Horn

This pick is where I would feel comfortable taking Jaycee Horn. He’s going to get beat early on in his career, but he has incredible upside and he can develop behind Patrick Peterson for a year before springing into action.

  1. New England Patriots – Mac Jones

Cam isn’t the long term answer for the Patriots and with no trade ups in this scenario the Patriots have to stick at 15 and take Mac Jones. Jones is smart and accurate which the Patriots like.

  1. Arizona Cardinals – Jaylen Waddle

The Arizona Cardinals run a lot of five wide receiver sets so stacking up on receivers isn’t a terrible idea. I’m a little low on Waddle but there’s no denying that he’s electric and he gives the chance for the Cardinals to create a track meet offense.

  1. Las Vegas Raiders – Teven Jenkins

It would be ignorant to get rid of more than half of your starting line and then not address it early in the draft. They need to get younger and get a mean tone setting guy at the position and Jenkins is their guy.

  1. Miami Dolphins – Micah Parsons

This is really a dream scenario here for the Dolphins as they get a phenomenal linebacker at 18. The upside Parsons has is too great to pass up on and he gives them another playmaker in the middle of the defense.

  1. Washington Football Team – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramah

It sucks that Parsons went just one pick before them but luckily another speedy linebacker who flies around the field is still available with JOK. He will be able to clean up the opportunities that the WFT DLine creates.

  1. Chicago Bears – Sam Cosmi

Without a QB option in sight the Bears should focus on the future rather than winning now. Cosmi is a tackle that I like a lot who may need some developing but provides an insane upside for the future.

  1. Indianapolis Colts – Azeez Ojulari

The Colts already weren’t amazing rushing off the edge and this offseason they did not bring back Justin Houston. Ojulari is my highest rated edge rusher left and I like his blend of athletic traits and technical refinement.

  1. Tennessee Titans – Rashod Bateman

The Titans let Corey Davis walk in free agency and if they expect the same productiveness from the offense that also lost Jonnu Smith they’re going to need to add weapons. Bateman is a phenomenal route runner and can get open in the middle of the field and deep which is where Tannehill thrives.

  1. New York Jets – Kwity Paye

The New York Jets signed Carl Lawson but they can go one step further by adding Kwity Paye as well. It gives them a great edge rushing presence and creates a defensive line with scary potential.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers – Landon Dickerson

Landon Dickerson is a guy that I like a lot. Not only is he a powerful guy who wins at the point of attack but he’s incredibly technically refined and will help the Steelers interior offensive line a ton.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Alijah Vera-Tucker

I’m a bit low on Alijah Vera-Tucker but he still has tremendous upside at guard because of his athleticism and Jacksonville could use someone to help protect interior rushers for Trevor Lawrence.

  1. Cleveland Browns – Zaven Collins

The Browns linebacking core is by far the weakest unit on the team. The Sione Takitaki pick has not worked out and Collins would give them a guy who’s phenomenal in coverage who also helps a lot in the run game.

  1. Baltimore Ravens – Terrace Marshall

Green Bay and New Orleans are between them and their next pick so if they want a receiver now is the time to do it. Marshall has size as well as decent speed and route running which is a rarity in this class, and a receiver of this mold could certainly help Lamar Jackson.

  1. New Orleans Saints – Greg Rousseau

Rousseau is an edge rusher who has a massive ceiling and the Saints lost Trey Hendrickson so they could use a guy opposite Cam Jordan and Rousseau would develop and thrive in New Orleans.

  1. Green Bay Packers – Eric Stokes

Contrary to what others think I don’t believe that the Packers need to force a pick at receiver considering they had the #1 scoring offense last year. Instead they lost in the playoffs because cornerback Kevin King couldn’t cover anyone and getting a twitchy and smart corner like Eric Stokes will help a lot.

  1. Buffalo Bills – Greg Newsome

Getting a guy across from Tre’Davious White has been a huge need for Buffalo for the longest time so getting a pro ready and fundamentally sound zone corner like Newsome helps them a lot.

  1. Baltimore Ravens – Elijah Moore

At this point in the draft if I’m the Ravens I’d double dip at receiver. This is likely the last year of Lamar on his rookie deal and the Ravens have to capitalize. Getting him a quick receiver who gets open and can create for himself after the catch will also help the Baltimore passing game.

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Daviyon Nixon

This Buccaneers team is one that has very few issues so it was tough deciding where to go. I went with Daviyon Nixon who I like a lot because he’s so explosive and would wreak havoc with Vea and Suh attracting attention.
