Kelee Ringo
Georgia CB
Games Watched: Tennessee, Ohio State, TCU
Summary: Kelee Ringo is a corner who is best suited for a primarily zone coverage team. He has good instincts especially in zone, and he has good ball skills and tracking ability. He is very strong and tested as a phenomenal athlete. His athletic ability, however, is overshadowed by his lack of agility which allows receivers to beat him with quickness. He often gives receivers a lot of cushion allowing him to be beat underneath.
Pros
- Tested as an elite athlete
- Great functional strength
- Good zone awareness
- Plays with decent footwork and balance
- Combines good ball tracking ability with great ball skills
Cons
- Does not change directions all that well
- Route anticipation skills are not the greatest
- Too concerned with not getting beat deep making him very susceptible on underneath routes
Grade: Kelee Ringo gets a mid second round grade. He is technically sound and is decently athletic, but his lack of agility raises concerns.
