Ht. 6’6″

Games Watched: Utah, Oregon State, Utah(Bowl)
One Liner: Experienced interior lineman who wins with technique, high football IQ and functional strength.
Strengths:
- Elite football IQ. Vorhees is an experienced lineman, and has manned the position for USC for quite some time. His football knowledge and understanding of the defense allows him to play at a high level consistently.
- Very good technique. Vorhees maintains high level technique in the run and pass game, whether it be hand placement, body positioning or timing.
- Good functional strength. Vorhees brings some strength to the table, especially from his lower body and leg drive.
Weaknesses:
- Marginal Athleticism. Vorhees is not an athletic freak by any means, and isn’t known for fluid movements to the second level.
- Adequate upper body strength. Vorhees doesn’t bring heavy hands and arm strength to the table, hurting his punching ability in one on one situations
- Adequate aggressiveness. Vorhees isn’t a mauler, and will usually just be more of a neutralizer at best.
Overall Assessment: Andrew Vorhees is a safe, reliable interior lineman prospect who brings high level technique and IQ to the table, ensuring consistency at the next level. You know what you are getting with Vorhees, and his lack of high level athleticism prevents him from being a top 32 selection, but he will be a reliable player at the next level. His injury in the combine will cause a fall in the draft but Vorhees should have a long career in the NFL.
Scheme Fit: Man blocking guard.
